The National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) has officially opened the 2025 application process.
Applications are now open and can shut on 15 December 2024.

To qualify for NSFAS funding, an applicant will have to meet the subsequent criteria:
• Be a South African citizen or copyright who comes from a home using a combined gross household income that doesn't exceed R350 000 per annum.
• Individuals with disabilities qualify if their combined domestic revenue does not exceed R600 000 per annum.

The NSFAS Loan Scheme for the missing middle is open up to all South African citizens and permanent residents from households with combined R350 000 and R600 000 for each annum.
